DemoSchool Academy is a free, open-enrollment school that welcomes all students. We are proud of a tradition that seeks to reach students from all backgrounds - no testing, no interviews, no barriers.

Enrollment is based on parent choice. Scholars are admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Any child who lives within our service area may enroll, if seats are available.

How to Enroll

Enrollment Process

Here's a step-by-step breakdown of how our enrollment process works at DemoSchool Academy.

Submit Application

Complete our simple online application through our enrollment system. Applications are accepted starting January 2026 for the 2026-27 school year.

Lottery (If Needed)

If we are over capacity after the application period, we will initiate a lottery. Applications submitted after the lottery deadline will be placed on a waitlist.

Registration

Families approved during the lottery will be notified and will accept or decline the offer. Accepted families complete all necessary registration forms.

Parent Academy

Required orientation sessions take place in the summer before the school year begins. These sessions prepare families for a successful year at DemoSchool.

First Day of School

The first day of school for the 2026-27 school year is August 3, 2026. Welcome to the DemoSchool Village!

Admissions FAQ

Is DemoSchool really free?

Yes! DemoSchool Academy is a tuition-free public school. There are no enrollment fees, tuition charges, or hidden costs. All students are welcome regardless of financial background.

Do students need to take a test to get in?

No. DemoSchool is an open-enrollment school. There are no entrance exams, academic requirements, or interviews. All students are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis.

What if the school is full when I apply?

If we are over capacity, we will conduct a lottery. Students not selected in the lottery will be placed on a waitlist and contacted if a seat becomes available.

Can students with IEPs or special needs enroll?

Absolutely. DemoSchool provides special education services and supports for students with IEPs, 504 plans, and other learning needs. Please bring relevant documentation during registration.

Is transportation provided?

Yes, bus transportation is available for eligible students within our service area. Contact our office at (877) 429-8938 for details on bus routes and eligibility.
